Funding for the work in Uganda is supported by Love in Action (International), UK Registered Charity (Reg No. 1122493).Alan and Beryl Went are the founders of Love in Action.
Having lived in Uganda to establish the charity, they now live in the North East of England and support the Ugandan work through Love in Action (International), UK.
Andrew Neill is the Chair of Trustees; he is married to Steph who is also a trustee.
Anddrew and Steph live in Colchester.
Andrew is a consultant with Chan Neill Solicitors LLP and Steph is a Secondary Headteacher.
Jackie Mann lives in Colchester in Essex. Jackie is a retired bio-medical scientist and has been involved with Love in Action since the very beginning. She visited Uganda for the first time back in 2004 and was one of our earliest supporters.
James Went is Alan and Beryl’s son. He also lives in the North East of England.
